Directions: From Houserville-Lemont intersection on Benner Pike, Route 26, goto Lemont. At traffic light in Lemont, turn left. Take Whitehill Street which is the first street to left. Cemetery is 4/10 mile on left, along tree line.

Overall Condition: Fair

Notes: "I've been told there is a modern burial of a person from the family that owns the land. " -EC

Historical Status: Linn states that this is probably the oldest burial site in College Township.  Being a family site, and with only a fifty year spread in the dates of the stones however makes it difficult to fit into State or National definitions.  Therefore,the historical importance must be focussed on the Dale family's importance to the local area.

Preservation Recommendation: The Dale site has probably received sporadic care over the years and is one of the sites where a volunteer caretaker may work well to avoid further damage to the site.
