25th Annual Independence Day Celebration

Friday, July 4, 2008
Ceremonies begin at 1:00 p.m.

Join us at the Centre Furnace Mansion for patriotic 4th of July ceremonies, including raising the flag, the reading of the Declaration of Independence, and singing the national anthem. The ceremonies begin at 1:00 p.m. on the lawn.

Guests are asked to bring a dish to share for the Victorian Food Sampler Potluck - old family recipes are especially welcome, but not necessary. The Society will provide beverages and table service. Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs for seating.

The Annual Independence Day Celebration is free (but don't forget your potluck offering), and all ages are welcome. The Centre Furnace Mansion and grounds are wheelchair-accessible. Parking is available in the lot off of Porter Road and in the overflow lot on East College Avenue in front of the Mansion.
