The Steven Spencer Livingston Garden.
The
dogwood tree, located southeast of the walkway as you enter in from the
parking area, was given by Jan and Steve Livingston in memory of their
son, Spencer Livingston. He was a fourth generation descendent of Moses
and Mary Irvin Thompson.
100 mixed daffodils were donated by Marshall Garrett and planted in this garden
during the 2004 PNC United Way Day of Caring. The resulting exodus of a
rather large family of ground hogs has inspired the planting of daffodils
in all of our gardens! It appears that ground hogs do not like to dig where
daffodils are planted.
