Donations.
Donations
are made to the Gardens at Centre Furnace Mansion in a variety of ways.
Memorial gifts or gifts to honor special occasions have been given for specific
gardens or trees, for ongoing maintenance and enhancement, or for garden
furnishings. One such gift, for a bench to be placed near the historic sycamore,
was given by family members and friends to remember remember long-time Historical
Society member,
Lula Witherow, and to honor her daughter and son-in-law,
Beverly and James Kline, on their wedding anniversary.
Sometimes we receive money to purchase supplies or specific plantings. Other times we receive plant material that may have specific significance to a local gardener or friend of the Centre Furnace Mansion. We also receive items like garden tools and supplies from people who are moving. All donations are most appreciated and put to good use.
To make a donation, please contact the Centre Furnace Mansion at (814) 234-4779 or e-mail info@centrecountyhistory.org
