Yarnell (Boggs) – Yarnell is believed to have been named for Samuel Yarnell, who came from Chester County in 1820. He opened a blacksmith shop and cleared a good farm. Yarnell and his neighbors are said to have tramped frequently to Curtin's Mill at Curtin with grist, and back home with supplies.
